Hi! I am so excited to be President of SWFDA again this year! I am a 4th grade teacher when I am not with my Oldenburg, Castiel. I am very happy to have 2 daughters that love to ride also, and a very supportive husband. I would like to see our club continue to grow and enjoy our time together with each other & our horses!
Vice president-Doris Suenkel
Being a SWFDA member for many many years and holding a lot of board position in the past I am very dedicated to make dressage interesting to my students no matter what age and background. Dressage is my passion and I like to share it. I am working on myself to become a better rider every time I mount a horse.
Please assist our association in becoming involved in the beautiful and challenging sport of dressage.
I am 55 years young and still competing on my big boy CHOPIN. My love for musical rides is what makes this sport especially interesting to me.

I started riding when I was in the seventh grade. My hubby and I started being snowbirds three years ago, and that’s when I met Doris, who encouraged me to become a member in SWFDA.
Member Representative- Henry Watson
Henry has been riding for most of his life. He studied and raised his horse Smooth Bullett with the Clinton method. He and his wife Ann are always ready to help with SWFDA events!

I started riding horses at a young age and lived in a small town where my best friend and I could ride our horses pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I competed as a hunter/jumper for many years. Since moving to Florida, and taking dressage lessons with Doris I’ve learned so much, and have fallen in love with the sport. I enjoy that there is always more to learn, and that each ride can have a new challenge. I am thrilled to always be learning something new in dressage, and excited to be a part of SWFDA!!

I am happy to be show secretary again. The SWFDA club has some wonderful hard-working members who love horses and put on fun dressage shows in our area.
I am hoping to take my sweet little Arab gelding to a show this year…if we can get our act together!

I have been a member of SWFDA for 9 years & am excited to be show secretary this year! My Quarter Horse, Sam, is retired from the show ring, but I borrow my mom's horse for a Freestyle now & then.
