Hi! I am so excited to be President of SWFDA again this year! I am a 4th grade teacher & rode my Oldenburg, Castiel, in SWFDA shows for many years before he passed away. I am very happy to have 2 daughters that love horses also, and a very supportive husband. I would like to see our club continue to grow and enjoy our time together with each other & our horses!
Being a SWFDA member for many many years and holding a lot of board position in the past I am very dedicated to make dressage interesting to my students no matter what age and background. Dressage is my passion and I like to share it. I am working on myself to become a better rider every time I mount a horse.
Please assist our association in becoming involved in the beautiful and challenging sport of dressage.
I am 55 years young and still competing on my big boy CHOPIN. My love for musical rides is what makes this sport especially interesting to me.
I started riding when I was in the seventh grade. My hubby and I started being snowbirds three years ago, and that’s when I met Doris, who encouraged me to become a member in SWFDA.

Henry has been riding for most of his life. He studied and raised his horse Smooth Bullett with the Clinton method. He and his wife Ann are always ready to help with SWFDA events!

Julie is a lifelong Naples resident and has been involved with horses since the age of eight. She began her equestrian career in the hunter/jumper discipline and has a special passion for off-the-track Thoroughbreds. In addition to riding, she enjoys teaching beginner riders and helping newcomers develop confidence and horsemanship skills. Julie is a financial advisor by profession and has been married to her husband for 10 years. Together they have 5 children. Recently she has expanded her equestrian interests by pursuing dressage and is excited to support and contribute to the growth of the local dressage community through service on the association’s board.

I was born and raised in England riding horses including dressage, cross country and trail riding. Came over here to work for Lee Health in 1992 as a relatively new graduate in Physical Therapy- and have been here ever since. Started 1st working on Western Dressage when I acquired Penny ("Quixote Question ") about 5 years ago and was then introduced to SWFDA. So happy to keep learning , striving to be better -and to be able to support this great club .

I have been a member of SWFDA for over ten years & am excited to be show secretary again this year! Currently, I teach 3rd grade and in my free time I love to write. I rode my Quarter Horse, Sam, in SWFDA shows for many years.
